Step 1
Open a Web browser on your computer and navigate to the LG Rumor driver download page.

Click the LG installation file to launch the installation wizard, and click Install. Drivers for the phone are installed on the computer. Reboot your computer. Proceed to the next step when the computer has restarted.

Plug the micro-USB connector end of the cord into the LG Rumor, and then plug the standard USB connector into a free USB port on the computer.
Step 5
Tap the Menu button on the LG Rumor, and then tap the Tools option in the Menu. The Tools menu opens.
Step 6
Tap the Mass Storage option in the Tools menu, and then tap Enable. Mass Storage Mode is enabled on the LG Rumor and the phone registers in Windows as a removable device.
Step 7
Point the mouse cursor to the upper right corner of the Windows Start screen to display the Charms menu.
Step 8
Click the Search icon to show the Search box. Type file explorer into the Search box, and then click the Search icon. The File Explorer link is displayed on the left side of the screen.
Step 9
Click the LG Rumor Removable Device link in the left navigation panel of File Explorer. The files and folders stored on the phone are displayed in the right pane of the file manager.
Step 10
Drag and drop files into folders on the phone. For example, drag audio files from your computer, and then drop them in the Music folder on the LG Rumor to make the song accessible from your phone.
Tip
If your LG Rumor phone was shipped with a CD, the USB drivers can be found on the CD.
